As a private clinic offering midwifery and ultrasound services, we provide essential services and work alongside private consultants and NHS Trusts in delivering care.
We are therefore remaining open with various changes being implemented.
For the time-being we are not offering scan packages that are purely for 4D imaging which are considered non-essential and at this time the health and well-being of the general public as well as our customers and staff remains paramount.
As a diagnostic clinic all our scans include well-being checks and are primarily health-related.
We will continue to offer early pregnancy and reassurance scans, and any medical scans which are deemed urgent or necessary for both men’s and women’s health.
Midwifery services will also continue so antenatal checks & blood-tests remain available and we can even offer reassurance via Laura, a midwife, listening in to baby with a handheld Doppler.
We can still confirm the gender for you at any of the scans if you wish to know this (after 14 weeks gestation) and whilst we realise some people rely on gender scans for reassurance and to bond with baby and, it may be important for mother’s mental health, we are trying to reduce unnecessary physical interaction by limiting the numbers of people entering the premises.
We also ask you to limit the number of guests to one person accompanying you at the scan. Please also note no children are currently permitted to attend the clinic. If this will be a problem please contact us to reschedule your appointment.
We remind you to follow public heath guidance and to reschedule/cancel your appointment if anyone in your household has had symptoms of Covid-19 – if in any doubt please contact us prior to attending.
Everyone will still be expected to use our hand sanitiser on entry to our premises and we hope people will remain sensible and not risk the health of their community unnecessarily.
Thanks for your understanding and we will resume normal service as soon as possible.
